Over time, the shaving soap may show a natural maturation process. While it sits, a slight dehydration can occur, resulting in the loss of some of the water originally contained in the formula.
This phenomenon may make the soap appear more compact and can cause a slight separation from the edges of the jar, sometimes becoming firmer and more similar to a hard soap puck. This is completely normal and does not affect performance. After the first uses, thanks to the hydration during lathering, the soap will return to its original consistency, while maintaining the same yield, glide, and lather quality.
